I plan ahead, and I had to snag this when I saw it. I'm loving cream/beige lately. So little Ari will be rocking a cream colored tutu dress this Thanksgiving! Can't wait.

Newborn Pictures & Rain Boots!

I look at Ari's newborn pictures once in a blue moon. I don't like to do it very often because I get OVERLY emotional. But today was one of those days & it was worth writing about. I literally almost had a huge.breakdown. But then Ari's adorable little rain coat & rain boots arrived in the mail & I got extremely excited! :)

 (This girl had SO MUCH hair...she still has a full head, but not nearly as much. What happened?!)

 

Tried not to get my tears on the keyboard. Okay, that is all. Now off to shop for her online for some retail therapy. Don't judge me.

Pretty in Powder Blue

I found one of my favorite new colors on Ar-Star. POWDER BLUE. I'm becoming obsessed. 

Who said girls can't wear blue?!

She is my little baby doll. I feel like I play dress up with her......all the time.

I wanted to let you guys know that my mom added some more accessories to her shop! She now sells CLIPPIES! (barrettes) You can clip them onto your baby girl's headband, or (big girl) & YOU can also wear them! I plan on wearing one of them & posting a picture. They're adorable.

Winter Wants

When it comes to shopping for Ms. Ari, I am in love with Old Navy & Carter's. I've also been looking on H&M's website & they have ADORABLE baby clothes! But they don't ship. Thankfully my town is building an H&M at our mall. YAY! (even though online is always better)

So of course I am already shopping for Fall & Winter clothes. All of these items are from Old Navy.

-The Graham Cracker jacket is just beyond adorable. I WOULD wear that if they had an adult size. Pair that with those little moccasins and I think my heart just might melt. Also a turquoise headband wouldn't hurt ;) (it reminds me of Pocahontas)

-The Gold Bow Jacket is just beautiful. Do I really need to say anything? I think Ari would look like a mini J-Lo in it. That's who it reminds me of. Haha

-The Yellow Polka Dot Sleeper .... Well, I am in love with it. Yellow is probably my favorite color on Ari (other than peach or light purple) and I am obsessed with polka dots. WHY don't they make adult sleepers? I am being completely serious! & if they do, please inform me of where I can buy them.

-The flower/bird purple kimono is just too.stinking.cute. & looks so comfy.

-And last but not least, freaking Christmas light pajamas with a cute little bird! (in bright blue) I think I just might die! Tis' the season!!! I keep coming up with ideas in my head of what I am going to do for Ari's first Christmas...she has to wear the cutest pajamas on Christmas Eve.... I just can't pick & choose from the cute selection.

Did your family do any special things for you as a kid during the holidays? What could I do for her as a baby? She will be 8 months old around then. SO EXCITED.

Sleeping Angel

Ari fell asleep on the floor. I noticed she was grinning! So I had to snap a picture.

I like to think that she was dreaming of her mommy! But it was probably a dream about sweet potatoes & her milk. Whatever, I'll just pretend it was about me. Staring at this photo makes me emotional believe it or not. I am SO blessed. Beyond blessed!

My Favorite Beauty Items

I wanted to make a post about my favorite beauty items after numerous e-mails asking me about what makeup I use!

My makeup changes all the time...but I stick with these items majority of the time!

1. MAC Full Coverage Foundation- I use this stuff as concealer as well. That's how good this stuff is. It took me a while to find something that had really good coverage...or, the coverage that I wanted. I, like many other women, suffer from dark under eye circles. This stuff is amazing! Covers every little thing I want covered. I apply it with my fingers. Apply powder on top, (my favorite is Elizabeth Arden, old school, but it's one of the best) and you're set.

2. Scandaleyes Rimmel Mascara- Not only is the color & packaging awesome, (it's highlighter orange!) but this stuff really makes your lashes pop. I would advise you to slowly apply and to wipe some of the excess mascara off the brush because it likes to clump easily. But it is my favorite indeed!

3. Nyx Lip Liner in "Rose"-  I'm so big on lip liner....I think all women need to add this to their beauty routine. Even if you don't wear lipstick or gloss! (you can even add some lip liner when you're applying chapstick) It defines your lips and makes your whole makeup look finished. You will never catch me without lip liner when I'm wearing a full face of makeup. I even like to wear it when I'm just heading to the store. Play up your best features... That is the biggest advice I could give when it comes to makeup. I personally like my lips the most, so I like to make them stand out & play them up! (Nyx lip liners have amazing shades.. check them out)

4. Revlon Lipstick in "Skyline Pink"- This is one of my favorite lipsticks of all time.. Revlon knows their stuff. Now I will say, this shade doesn't have much pink in it like the name says. It's more of a nude or beige tone. But this is perfect for me because my lip liner is so pink that once I apply the lipstick it becomes nude/pink with some sparkle. Love it. And now don't get me wrong, MAC & other high-end brands have some amazing lipsticks. But I for some reason, always stick with the drugstore brands when it comes to lipstick. I love Revlon & Wet n' Wild.

5. Benefit's Smokey Eyeshadow Palette- Waaaaaah! I love Benefit & all of their makeup. But especially this! I have had this palette since summer 2011 and I still have so much left over.. And I use this stuff basically every day or every time I put on makeup! It's the perfect shades for the smokey eye. A deep charcoal grey, soft black, liner, eyebrow cream, and even a tweezer. If you don't buy this for yourself, buy it as a gift for that special lady in your life! (JUST SAYING)

& that covers it for my favorite beauty items (at the moment) I'm sure more will be added.
