Fall Favorites

One of my favorite times of the year is coming around the corner. FALL! The holidays literally make me grin from ear to ear. The smell, the decorations, and the ultimate feeling! And now that I have a baby I want to make the holidays that much more exciting!! I thought I'd share some of my favorites that put me in the spirit :)

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. It's delish & makes you feel cozy on a nice Fall day.

2. Metallic Pumpkins. I'm IN LOVE with sparkly/metallic pumpkins. Especially gold. Even solid white! And of course you have to throw an orange pumpkin in your arrangement somewhere ;)

3. Fall scents from Yankee Candle. One of my faves is "Autumn Leaves" The crisp smell of Fall. Need I say more?!

4. Disco Nail Polish in the color "Stayin' Alive" It's a bright orange. Paint your toes this color & then draw pumpkin eyes/mouth. Cute!! (It's black light nail polish by the way) Perfect for a Halloween party.

5. HOCUS POCUS. One of the best Halloween movies of all time. I wait for this movie every year. Sarah Jessica Parker at her best :)

6. Wool Scarfs. Comfy, stylish, and keeps ya warm. :) Cold weather accessories are the best. I'd rather wear a sweater & sweats vs. a tank & shorts any day!

Once again I am so excited for the holidays. I'm already planning on how I'm going to decorate the house and Ari's room! Christmas time is my favorite though, I gotta admit. Bring on the cold weather!! I've been waiting for months.

Ari's mobile & some cuteness!

I wanted to share with you Ari's new mobile that will be hanging above her changing table!

Baby girl is always looking up when she's being changed. So I thought I'd add something to give her a little amusement! They're made out of paper rose petals. Pretty, right? :)

& now some cuteness from Little Miss Ari herself. She fell asleep on her new sheep blanket/rug thingy. I don't know what it's called, her grandma got it for her. But I do know that she is in love with it. It's super soft & I wish they made an adult size for me!

My Sleepy Ar-Star.

I thought I'd share with you Ari's usual bedtime routine. My baby LOVES to sleep. She takes numerous naps throughout the day & sleeps ALL NIGHT without waking! It's been this way since the end of her first month. We're pretty lucky.

My sweets is just a good baby all around. She loves her bath time. It really soothes her & puts her in a relaxing mood. She usually gets a bath around 7:30-8:00.

Followed by some "pampering" if you will.

& I just have to rave about this lotion. It's organic. It smells so so so good. I have noticed with other lotions that the smell doesn't last. This smell lingers for hours after her baths. She smells so good, I could just cuddle with her all night.
 (& yes I painted her toesies. I couldn't help myself.)

After her girly time & bath she gets her din-din! I have a little piggy on my hands. She's an eater, for sure. She has a 5 ounce bottle, and this REALLY relaxes her. Sometimes she falls into a food coma and she's out for the entire night. (but that is rare) 

After her feeding, it's story time.

Boy, does my sunshine love being read to!! She sits in my lap & smiles. It's the cutest. I'm trying to build her a library in her bedroom :) My all time fave: "Rainbow Fish" The sparkles & bright colors really get her attention. & come on, the story is just adorable & heart-felt.

After her bedtime story I lay her in her bassinet, give her a binky, (sometimes she chooses her thumb instead) and she stairs at the ceiling & falls asleep. Definitely an angel.

Her favorites are the "Mam" Pacifiers. Not only are they great, but they have the cutest designs!

She usually falls asleep for the night around 10:30-11:00. Sleeps the entire night with no interruptions, and wakes up for her first feeding around 9:00. Goes back to sleep for another hour or hour 1/2. It's AWESOME! Literally, freaking awesome.

But lately, I've noticed my sleeping angel is starting to wake a tad bit earlier. 7-ish. & she is sucking/chewing on EVERYTHING. I have come to the conclusion that she is indeed teething. So what soothes her are these:

They're Lifefactory Teethers. They rock. She loves them, you can use them as bracelets so they don't get lost, etc. I've read amazing reviews about these & I agree!

Being a mommy is the most important job ever. But how lucky am I to have this job? Not even lucky, I'm blessed. Big difference! She is the one person that can put a smile on my face regardless of all the crap going on in my life. I love you, minnie!

Ari's 3 Months!

My little darling is getting so big! Her legs are getting chunkier, she is growing like a weed, and she is absolutely perfect. I give this little girl a billion+ kisses a day. She is blowing bubbles, cooing, and smiling constantly. She also started sucking her thumb recently if her binky falls out. (Cute, right?) She's becoming very aware of her surroundings and is so curious... if her daddy or I leave the room, she screams! She has the cutest little crush on her daddy. She gets bashful when he talks to her, she turns to the side and smiles... and puts her hands on her face. It's the sweetest thing ever!! Needless to say, we're in love with her. And each day gets better. I'm so happy to have my little family. Just my daughter, my man, and I. We're 3 peas in a pod.
