Who else has been busy getting ready for Hallow's Eve?! October is almost here! Which most people can offically say, hello holidays! ;) I have been putting a Halloween basket together for Ari. (no candy, booooo.) But, cute baby stuff of course!

In other news, hubby's birthday is coming up on Monday! I can't wait to spend an entire day with him while Noni watches little miss. Speaking of little miss, she is now saying mama clearly, she said BABA yesterday when I didn't give her bottle quickly enough, and she also says yaya. (I still haven't figured out what that means yet...) I just know it means grandma in Greek. She is an absolute angel. I honestly couldn't be more blessed.

Happy Birthday, Nanny!

My grandma's birthday is today! (Ari's GREAT grandma!)

So I thought I would do a cute little photo shoot like I did for my mom's b-day present. :)

So many birthdays in September, October, November in my fam. And December is Christmas time/My birthday... Mama can't wait ;)

It's feeling fabulous here in Kentucky. The high is 70 lately. Puuuurfect!

We'll be taking Ari to Huber's Farm to pick some pumpkins, have some pumpkin ice cream, have some wine tasting, and enjoy their beautiful scenery. Can't wait to take pics & show you guys!

Happy 5 Months!

Ari is 5 months old today!! She has been beyond playful all day long... 

so it was hard to get some good pictures.

(yes mommy, I'm 5 months old.. and I'm getting even more pretty!)

Ari's Noni is constantly buying her tutus. So she basically lives in them. She likes to bring the tull up to her mouth & chow down. (eek) 

She tried pears last night! LOVED them! There hasn't been a food she HATES... I just can't believe my baby girl didn't care for bananas. What a weirdo :) She has been teething like crazy. Old lady with 100 cats on Hoarders crazy. We give her Advil Infants medicine... and we rub some Orajel Cooling Cucumber gel on her gums.. We give her teethers, cold rags, etc. It only works for a short amount of time. So if any of you have any suggestions, that would be great! :)

Other than the teething, she is the perfect baby. Still sleeping throughout the entire night like a..... baby? And she let's mommy & daddy sleep in most of the time! She is wanting to crawl so badly. She's interested in every LITTLE thing. She's exploring her surroundings so much more. Not only does she suck her thumb, but now the toes are being devoured as well! I love watching her grow. It really is a beautiful experience. I just hate how fast time is going. I constantly have my video camera out... cherishing all the giggles, smiles, milestones, and even shits.

Love her so much. So so so much.

Playtime & High Chair

I purchased the Graco Contempo High Chair today at BabiesRUs! It should be here by Friday! I am beyond excited. It's a job feeding little missy in her Bumbo seat. She gets her food EVERYWHERE. Speaking of which, she tried carrots today! It's her absolute favorite. It seems my little honey loves orange food....Sweet potatoes, carrots. But carrots are definitely #1 right now! I couldn't even finish putting the food on her spoon before her mouth was open and she was screaming for more!

It's the most lightweight of the Graco high chairs. Easy to fold up if it's needed for travel. The cover is fabric & it's easy to wash! It was also a reasonable price. I ordered it today when shipping was free. Great deal :)

Ari & Halloween Treats

So my angel is going to be 5 months old next week. I say this & I'll say it again, WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?! I feel like I had her last month... not 5 months ago. She is now giggling 24/7... full on laughing. She has started solids. Her favorites are sweet potatoes, oatmeal cereal, and peas. Believe it or not, she doesn't care for bananas. I think she likes veggies more than fruit. Just like her mama. She likes to hit her Bumbo tray when I don't feed her fast enough. (piggy) 

She is getting too small for 6 month clothing. Not weight wise, but she is SO LONG. Her pants are capris on her. I've been ordering all kinds of sleepers, sweaters, etc for the fall & winter time! :) I am SO READY to dress her up like a little Eskimo! 

She tries so hard to scoot herself when she's on her belly. She pushes up with her arms & looks around & gets very aggressive when she can't scoot to the end of the blanket. Pure comedy.

She is sitting up on her own. I'm loving it! But I will admit, I miss holding her like a newborn. & I will say, I have been getting a tad bit emotional lately thinking about her growing up & how fast time is passing. I want her to be my little pumpkin forever.

We dropped her off there while we went Fall decor shopping ;) You know I'm all on this like white on rice.

I've been thinking about all kinds of ideas for Halloween.. Parties, or just for me, the babe, and Jaime. If you follow my pinterest, (here) you know I'm obsessed with cupcakes/sweets. So if you throw halloween in with cupcakes, I'm in heaven. Sweet, Hallow's Eve heaven.

As I was changing Ari's outfit yesterday, out of nowhere, she decided to sit up on her own. My big girl is growing up so fast! So proud of her.

One of my favorite things about having a daughter is, well.. shopping. Every time I go somewhere, I find something I want to get her. One of my favorite places to shop is- CARTERS! It's hard not to blow my whole credit card on their online shop. Seriously.

Ari doesn't ALWAYS wear pink from head to toe. That kind of grinds my gears. I like pastels on her the most. & she looks beautiful in solid white. Can't help it. 

I'm all about pink, don't get me wrong. Her nursery is mostly pink.. (I couldn't help it) As soon as I found out she was a girl, I kind of went a bit overboard with the pink nursery decor... almost regretting it. But there is always time to change it up :) And honestly, she loves staring at the bright shades when she's in there. It's her favorite room in the house!! :)

So, the items I just bought her are seriously too cute. Notice the Holiday items!

Cupcake Love

Soooo... Hubby went out of town to DC for a work trip. I don't know if any of you watch "DC Cupcakes".. but I'm obsessed! I've always wanted to try their cupcakes. I wrote Jaime a text & said "man...if I had some of those cupcakes, I'd just die." Not even a minute later, he sent me a picture of the cupcakes & said, "Already thought of it...you always make me ruin your surprises."

Look who is happy that daddy is coming home tomorrow! Jaime has been gone 6 days for work...
we sure do miss him. I said "Ari, daddy is coming home tomorrow!" & she gave me this smile:
